[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Yes, again a bodega visited last weekend. And this time we visited Bodega Artesana in Uruguay. A small, modern bodega which produces Tannat, Merlot and Zinfandel wines. The latter grape I was unfamiliar with and have not tasted before, but I really enjoyed that wine as well. I have to mention that Artesana is currently the only bodega in Uruguay producing Zinfandel wines.
Bodega in Uruguay – Bodega Artesana
The bodega prepared a few large, round tables for us to taste the wines. And the barbecue (parilla) as ready as well. The chorizo sausages kept on coming and coming. The typical Uruguayan desert, flan with Dulce de Leche, was served under a large tree at the vineyard. Just 50 meters from the place where we tasted the wines.
Remember that if you want to pay a visit at this bodega you have to call them beforehand, or arrange something through email. Unfortunately you cannot arrive without notice at a bodega in Uruguay, which is possible in France.[/vc_column_text][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”6680,6682,6684,6686,6688″ img_size=”large” onclick=””][vc_column_text]
